Features

Situated on Devereaux Rd. just off N. Parma Rd. the home is in Western School District and Parma Township. With almost 5 acres of land it has plenty of space for outdoor activities, long walks in the woods, or just admiring the many plantings that change with the seasons. With the spacious rooms and open yards on both sides, there is plenty of room to host family gatherings or celebrate the holidays with friends.  Even though it has a beautiful country setting it is just minutes from Jackson, Marshall and Lansing.

Birds and Wildlife
freely roam and eat at the feeders in the Magnolia tree. Bird nests are abundent in the spring and throughout the summer. Mourning Doves nest in the hanging baskets on the front porch (I hang silk flowers out as they request them early and don't disturb the hatchlings with waterings) and the shrubs and trees provide nesting to Cardinals, Robins, Rose-Breasted Grosbeaks and more.  Hummingbirds arrive each spring and buzz the feeders all summer until they depart for warmer habitats in late fall. Canadian Geese, Sandhill Cranes, Pheasants and Wild Turkeys often pass overhead or graze in the yard. Rabbits keep the weeds down by nibbling in the early morning and evening hours on clover.  It is truly a pleasure to sip your coffee on the porch in the morning in May and listen to the many songbirds starting their day.

The house has had many improvements (see the "Updates" link) and has a great floorplan.  To see the home and grounds please feel free to contact us at 517-740-9765 or 517-740-9727.
